About this file
This document is Amendment 0005 to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Regional Multiple Award Construction Contracts (RMACC) issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit in Juneau, Alaska. The amendment revises several sections of the previous RFP, including formatting requirements (changing from Times New Roman to allowing Calibri font), corporate experience submission guidelines, and past performance documentation rules. Key changes include expanding acceptable project value from strictly $500,000-$20,000,000 to "approximately" that range, allowing corporate experience from affiliates, subsidiaries, and parent companies, and clarifying that interim CPARS evaluations and PPQs can be submitted together for project references.
The amendment provides detailed instructions for potential contractors on preparing their proposals, specifically focusing on Factor 1 (Corporate Experience). Contractors must submit 3-5 relevant construction projects with contract values around $500,000 to $20,000,000, completed within the last six years. At least one project must demonstrate Design-Build experience. Attachment A (Excel) and Attachment B (Experience Information Form) have been revised, with Attachment B now allowing up to four pages of project description. The proposal due dates remain unchanged from the previous amendment, and contractors are required to return a signed copy of this amendment with their proposal.
