About this file

This file is a technical capabilities specification for a vessel in support of a United States Coast Guard (USCG) Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA IDIQ) contract. The specification details comprehensive vessel requirements including operational, logistical, and functional capabilities. Key technical specifications include: ability to operate 94.5% of contract period, support 30-day at-sea operations in Sea State 4, maintain a 2,000 nautical mile range at economic speed, transit at 10 knots or greater, accommodate 12 Coast Guard personnel in staterooms, carry four 20-foot IMO containers, produce 4,000 gallons of water daily, provide 2,250 sq ft of deck space, and have a hydraulic stores crane with a 5,000-pound working load limit.

The vessel must be U.S.-built and capable of operating in multiple geographical regions including the Caribbean Basin, Gulf of America, Atlantic Area, Pacific Area, and Polar Regions. Additional requirements include a dedicated, lockable conference room with workspace for 12 personnel, power outlets, and printer spaces. The contract has a 5-year period with a cumulative ceiling of $99,000,000, is unrestricted, and will support USCG command, control, and logistics missions. The government intends to issue an initial task order concurrent with the IDIQ contract award to meet immediate operational requirements.
