GFI in support of Statement of Objectives
• The host cutter, with its Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) certified air search radar and qualified Air Direction Controller (ADC) sourced from the ship’s company, will provide airspace deconfliction within the limits of the host cutter’s air search radar capabilities. A UAS integrated collision avoidance system, such as detect and avoid (DAA) or sense and avoid (SAA), or external airspace deconfliction, via airborne or shore-based radars, if available may also extend the operational range of the UAS.
• The Government will provide a UAS Mission Coordinator to assist the Contractor in facilitating air space integration onboard host cutters, when needed.
• The United States Coast Guard (USCG) will provide access to applicable USCG/Department of
Homeland Security/Department of Defense instructions and manuals to support operations and information necessary to maintain Government Cybersecurity/Information Technology compliance, Resiliency, Risk Management Framework (RMF), Platform Information Technology
(PIT) and Platform Risk Approval (PRA) processes.
