About this file

This document is a Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) that establishes contractor service requirements for the maintenance and inspection of PTD (Physical Training/exercise) equipment. The PRS defines five performance objectives with specific standards, acceptable quality levels, inspection methods, and financial consequences for non-compliance.

The five performance objectives are: (1) Weekly Equipment Inspection—daily visual inspections per OEM manual with 5% AQL using random sampling and customer complaints, 1% invoice reduction; (2) Monthly Equipment Inspection—monthly visual and technical inspections per OEM manual with 5% AQL using random sampling, 1% invoice reduction; (3) Equipment Repair—repair of damaged equipment within 2 weeks of COR notification (subject to parts availability) with 5% AQL based on customer complaints, 1% invoice reduction; (4) Serviceable and Replacement Parts—provision of three estimates for any parts replacement recommendations with 3% AQL using random sampling, 1% invoice reduction; and (5) Records and Inspection of Work—maintenance of legible written records and documentation of all visits, work accomplished, and parts transactions with 5% AQL using random sampling, 1% invoice reduction. Each performance objective is tied to specific PWS sections (2.0, 2.4, 2.5, 2.7, and 2.9) and applies to all PTD exercise equipment. Non-compliance with performance thresholds results in monthly invoice reductions of 1% of total contract price per objective.
