About this file
The document is a detailed Sequence of Operations for a New Barrier Wedge/Gate System, outlining a comprehensive security access control mechanism with four distinct operational modes. The system consists of multiple integrated components including a motorized sliding gate, high-security wedge barrier, metering arm, signal lights, loop detectors, and a vehicle authorization system capable of processing entries via PSO or badge/ANPR technologies.
The four operational modes are: 1) Normal Mode (Full Security) with individual vehicle control, 2) High Traffic Mode (Expedited Flow) maintaining throughput during rush hours while preserving moderate security, 3) Free Exit Mode allowing automatic single vehicle egress, and 4) Additional Control Features including a manual override panel, timers to prevent tailgating, and error state management. The system incorporates multiple loop detectors at entry approach, staging zone, and exit path, with built-in safety mechanisms like stopping motion and triggering alarms if obstructions are detected. The design emphasizes flexible, secure vehicle access management with granular control across different traffic and security scenarios.
