About this file

This attachment document is a detailed design specification guide for Eastern State Hospital's (ESH) Mission, Vision, and Values (MVV) branding initiative titled "Mission in Motion." The document outlines eight primary display categories to be implemented across both Building 1 and Building 2 of the facility. The displays include: a main lobby feature wall banner establishing the hospital's mission statement and core purpose; vision statement corridor panels reinforcing organizational direction; individual value panels highlighting five core values (Compassion, Safety, Respect, Teamwork, and Excellence) for placement in unit hallways, break rooms, nursing stations, and administrative areas; a progress board tracking safety improvements and staff recognition; unit-level interactive MVV posters; staff entrance reminder signs; patient-friendly MVV displays in dayrooms and waiting areas; and rotating digital signage slides for lobby monitors and breakroom televisions. Each display category specifies location, purpose, header text, supporting messaging, design elements, and behavioral action lines aligned with the "Mission in Motion" theme. All displays are to incorporate consistent branding standards including a defined color palette of soft blues and greens per DBHDS guidelines, the "Mission in Motion" phrase, and a tone that is hopeful, human, and action-oriented.

The document serves as a comprehensive creative brief for the vendor contracted to execute the marketing services outlined in RFP 704-R23117 for the Commonwealth of Virginia. The specifications indicate that materials should be electronically reproducible and standardized, suggesting the need for template development, logo integration, and design consistency across multiple physical and digital mediums. The implementation plan encompasses both permanent installations and changeable or digital display components, indicating a phased deployment approach across the facility. No pricing information, response deadlines, award dates, contract terms, or other procurement-specific details are contained within this design specification document.
