About this file
This is an architectural/engineering exhibit showing the Borrow Excavation Area for the Ash Creek Helispot Phase 1 project. The exhibit presents a site plan with a typical cross-section detail of the excavation specifications. The borrow excavation area is delineated with dashed lines on the site map and is designed to be approximately 12 inches (12" nominally) deep with a total volume of 4,600 cubic yards of raw material (CY_Raw). The excavation area varies in width up to 400 feet along its length. The typical section detail (labeled BX) illustrates a 10-foot slope on both sides of the excavation and shows the original ground (OG) elevation reference. The site plan indicates the location relative to Caltrans rights-of-way, a geometric centerline at Highway 89, and identifies the helispot landing area (shown with crosshatching) positioned south of the borrow excavation zone. A scale of 1 inch equals 125 feet is provided for reference, and the drawing includes a north arrow and coordinate system for spatial orientation.
