About this file
This is an Award Memo from the State of Utah Division of Purchasing for contract opportunity NC27-109, an archaeological survey project conducted through an Invitation for Bid (IFB) process restricted to pre-approved vendors on the state's archaeology vendor list. The project involves conducting an archeological survey for an area adjacent to and north of Eureka, Utah, with the contract anticipated to be awarded to the lowest cost responsive and responsible bidder. No mandatory site visit was required for this procurement. The memo documents the award decision and establishes the terms under which a single contractor will be selected to complete the archaeological survey work.
The procurement was structured as a competitive bid process with pricing guarantees required for the entire project duration. As an Invitation for Bid restricted to approved vendors, only contractors meeting the state's archaeological qualification standards were eligible to submit proposals. The award memo reflects the state's selection of the successful bidder based on cost competitiveness and responsibility factors, ensuring the chosen contractor possessed the necessary expertise and qualifications to execute the archeological survey work in accordance with applicable standards and project specifications.
