About this file

This document is an Addendum (#5) to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for expert professional climate resilience and sustainable design services. The RFP seeks a consultant to provide task order-based services over a four-year term, focusing on large commercial and transportation infrastructure projects such as buildings, bridges, tunnels, airports, ports, roadways, and railways. Proposers must demonstrate a minimum of three projects within the last seven years that demonstrate successful design-phase verification/certification in climate resilience and sustainable design. The proposal submission deadline is set for 2:00 P.M. on January 5, 2024.

The addendum clarifies key proposer requirements, specifically noting that only the Prime firm can meet the qualification criteria, and subconsultants cannot contribute to LEED AP/Envision AP credentials. Regarding administrative details, the Port Authority indicates that proposers may submit one comprehensive salary roster, with the option to provide additional rosters for separate subsets if necessary. The document also addresses staffing flexibility, confirming that specific individuals, disciplines, and schedules need not be identified at this stage, and that a general statement about providing staff as needed for on-site, remote, or combination support will be sufficient.
