The bid is being issued by the Federal Highway Administration on behalf of the Department of Transportation, with responses due by September 20th, 2022. The amendment removes and replaces a page in the IFB to provide additional requirements for the design and permitting of the new septic system, including coordinating with Pitkin County on an existing domestic wastewater treatment permit and developing design plans and calculations in accordance with applicable state regulations. The selected contractor will also be responsible for assisting with permit completion and constructing the new septic system to meet all permit conditions.
