Questions and Answers during Advertisement for Construction Inspection IDIQ
September 25, 2020
Questions Answers 1 Will the Contracting Office please provide additional information regarding the extent of competition of the subject RFQ - full and open basis with a partial small business set-aside? Does it mean a certain number of contract awards will be reserved to small business concerns? Or are non-small business offerors need to identify small business subconsultant partner(s) and meet a set-aside goal under their contract?
This RFQ is for full and open competition; any business, large or small, may submit a package provided they meet the requirements stated in the solicitation. The intent is to award to two or more contracts. The partial small business set-aside means that we intend to award to at least one small business concern provided that they meet the requirements.
2 I see SF 330s are not requested from subconsultants. Do you request an SF 330 Part II for subs?
See page 12 of the RFQ: “SF 330’s are NOT required for all subcontractors, sub consultants or joint firms.”
3 . Page 2, item A. 1 (4). This appears to have the wrong title. Should this read “On Site Materials Tester?”
See Amendment 001
