Solicitation 697DCK-25-R-00008:

Grounds Maintenance Services at the Jacksonville ARTCC in Hilliard, Florida

Responses to Vendor Submitted Questions

Q1. Do you know if this contract was awarded previously?

R1. This is a new requirement; there was not a previous contract in place.

Q2. What was the previous awarded amount?

R2. See Response #1.

Q3. What's the name of the previous contractor?

R3. See Response #1.

Q4. What is the ballpark of what the dollar amount of the last contract was for? Are we privy to that information?

R4. See Response #1.

Q5. Previous Incumbent and Contract Value: Could you provide details about the previous contractor who performed this work and the value of the contract?

R5. See Response #1.

Q6. I've noticed a sprinkler system in Area 1 on the map. Does it work? If any maintenance is required, will there be a separate pricing sheet for that?

R6. Please review the Statement of Work (SOW) Page 3 for specific requirements of Area 1. The sprinkler system is operational.

Q7. Please can the government post the sign in sheet?

R7. The attendee list for the site visit will not be posted.

Q8. I saw this is a SDVOSB set-aside and our company is a SDVOSB. However, since we are newer, we are still awaiting on our official certification. Is there anything we can provide in our offer as proof to still compete for this opportunity?

R8. You should be able to obtain a letter confirming your firm has submitted the application for certification and certification is pending.

Q9. I am a Veteran own business but not disabled. My question is if no disabled Veteran applies for a contract would I as a veteran own business be able to apply?

R9. Because Solicitation 697DCK-25-C-00008 is a 100% set aside for SDVOSB, we would re-evaluate our procurement strategy if no SDVOSB contractors apply. It would not default to Veteran-owned businesses.

Q10. I am hoping to find out if the subject effort is a new requirement or a follow-on to an existing contract? If the latter, can I please find out the incumbent contractor's name and contract number?

R10. See Response #1.

Q11. Base Access Requirements: We’d like to understand the process for background checks and base access before submitting our access list for the site visit. Could you provide details about the steps involved and any specific requirements we need to complete in advance?

R11. Nothing is required in advance of award; the process can be reviewed at: https://vap2.faa.gov.

Once there, click on “Vendor Training”, located in the blue portion of the webpage.
