Foreign Nationals can support FAA contracts if they meet the criteria outlined in Security Clause 3.14-3 – Foreign Nationals as Contractor Employees. Because janitorial contracts require routine physical access, a background investigation must be conducted and reviewed for a favorable suitability determination. Janitorial and landscaping positions do not require direct drug testing by the FAA- this is the responsibility of the vendor.
