Can you please advise what the weight of the existing rooftop unit is?

As per the data furnished from the manufacturer, the unit is approximately

8666 LBS.

Who is the current front‐end vendor in the existing building?

Johnson Controls is the controls vendor. The Johnson Controls Point of Contact is Chris who can be reached at 866‐854‐4724.

Who is the current fire alarm vendor?

Fire Alarm Panel Maintenance is handled by NY Fire Service Inc., 1230 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050, 516‐883‐3900.

Who holds the roofing warranty? See General Note 3, D003 for roofer.

Confirm that no bid bond/security is required to be submitted with our bid package for the Farmingdale Republic Airport HVAC Project.

A bid guarantee is not required for this procurement.

Will temporary air conditioning be required? What method/equipment should be used?

Temporary air conditioning will not be required. See demolition staging notes on D003.

What length of run should be carried for the electrical wiring for the ionization system to panel NPA Circuit #42?

Load is 10 watt as per the cut sheet.

Approximately 350 ft for electrical wiring.

This project is a negotiated bid and not a sealed bid as per section #2 on the “Solicitation, Offer and

Award” form. Can you confirm if this indicates that bids should be submitted electronically?
