About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Texas Pavement Preservation project, addressing technical details for a multi-park pavement maintenance contract. The Q&A covers ten specific technical questions related to project implementation, including quality control requirements, temporary traffic control, equipment inspections, material stockpiling, and operational specifications. Key clarifications include: contractors can work in more than two parks while maintaining approved Quality Control Plans, temporary traffic control items will be paid at contract unit prices, equipment inspections will be required at each park location, and only one project orientation will be needed. Additional technical specifics address weather limitations for work, use of precoated aggregate, and restrictions on sweeping equipment, with all responses dated 10/22/25 and indicating that some details will be addressed through future contract amendments.
