About this file

This document is an Amendment to a Solicitation for the TX NP MULTI PMS(1) Pavement Preservation Texas project, issued by the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration. The amendment (A001) modifies several key aspects of the original solicitation, including revising the project completion date to 09/03/2026, with the assumption that the notice to proceed will be received by 01/12/2026. The amendment includes changes to special contract requirements, specifically addressing dirt and foreign material removal, vehicle and equipment cleaning protocols, and orientation sessions for contractor and subcontractor employees working in park areas.

The amendment updates sampling, testing, and acceptance requirements for micro surfacing aggregate and polymer-modified emulsified asphalt, detailing specific sampling frequencies, point of sampling, and testing methods. Additional requirements include following posted speed limits, maintaining mufflers on equipment, using downcast lighting for nighttime operations, and conducting mandatory orientation sessions for all workers before commencing work. The solicitation number is 69056725R000006, and the amendment was dated 10/31/2025, with modifications affecting multiple sections of the original document, including pages A-5, E-20, E-23, and F-10.
