About this file
This document contains questions and answers related to the federal contract opportunity for WA PACIFIC 2015(1), PUBLIC ACCESS ENHANCEMENT TO WILLAPA NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE. The questions seek clarification on requirements for stamping station and alignment details on monument caps, grading designations for roadway aggregate, whether a new bid bond is required given a changed bid date, and grading details for an upper parking lot. The responses indicate that information on the monument cap requirements and parking lot grading will be provided, refer to specification sections for aggregate grading designation, and state a new bid bond is not necessary only acknowledgement of amendments. The related federal contract opportunity is issued by the Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration for public access enhancement projects at the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge.

Is there any information on the grading for the upper parking lot next to the new building?
We visited the site and saw a dozer staged that had rough graded the area. We are trying to determine how much more grading will be needed before the parking lot can rocked per the new plans, but we can’t find any grading information for this area
