About this file
This document is a pre-bid conference PowerPoint presentation for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) regarding a Request for Bid (RFB) for pumps, heat exchanger parts, and repairs at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Van Nuys Airport (VNY). The contract is intended to provide LAWA with a responsive source for pump and heat exchanger parts, repairs, and related services at both facilities. The RFB was released on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 4:00 PM Pacific Time, with a pre-bid conference held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. The initial deadline to submit questions in writing via the Bonfire/Euna Procurement portal was Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM Pacific Time. Bids are due on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM Pacific Time. The contract consists primarily of parts supply with labor provided on an as-needed basis, with deliveries and services primarily performed at the Central Utility Plant (CUP) located at 275 Center Way, Los Angeles, California. Bid results will be tabulated and posted within ten business days after the bid due date on the Euna Procurement portal under "Public Notices."
The presentation outlines mandatory administrative requirements and bid documents that vendors must complete and submit to be considered responsive, including a Vendor Identification Form, Affidavit of Non-Collusion, CEC Form 50 (Municipal Lobbying Ordinance), and CEC Form 55 (Bidder Contributions). Vendors must provide bid worksheets using either a fixed price or discount/mark-up format and include estimated delivery lead times for all requested items. Quotes for shipping charges exceeding $75 must be supported by original documentation. LAWA is committed to its Local Business Preference Program (LBPP) to encourage local business participation and job creation. The presentation emphasizes that all questions must be submitted in writing through Bonfire's Vendor Discussions tab, that vendors are responsible for ensuring complete and accurate bid documents, and that vendors should monitor the Public Notices tab regularly for updates and addenda.

These requirements are mandated by one of three authorities: the Los Angeles City Charter, the Los Angeles Municipal Code, or the Los Angeles Administrative Code.
Submitting an incomplete form or failing to submit a required form may deem bids/proposals as non-responsive and could result in their rejection.
