About this file
This document is Addendum #2 for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 008-25 issued by Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) for USDA Commodity Processing - Commercial Direct Ship, released on June 17, 2025. The addendum provides clarifications and answers to potential bidders' questions regarding the solicitation. The bid involves direct shipping of commodity products by manufacturers to the CCPS Facilities Services Warehouse, with estimated quantities provided in cases. Samples of 20-25 servings are required for each product, and electronic signatures are acceptable. The district intends to make one award but reserves the right to make multiple awards or no award.
Pricing details include requirements for bidders to enter costs in the Bonfire Bid Table, with specific instructions on how to handle various pricing columns such as commercial cost, Fee-For-Service (FFS), and Net Off Invoice (NOI). The bid requires listing both the commercial price and the price after donated food value. Bidders must complete SLBE (Small Local Business Enterprise) forms and submit an E-Verify Affidavit. The pricing structure involves calculating unit prices based on FFS, with the total serving cost including USDA Foods per case and FFS pricing. Manufacturers are expected to ship directly to the warehouse without going through a distributor, and the bid emphasizes transparency in pricing, including donated food value and service fees.
