About this file

This document includes a sample implementation timeline template for a Department of State Office of Global Women's Issues grant opportunity, along with details of the associated federal grant program and solicitation. The timeline template provides a sample format for applicants to outline project activities on a quarterly basis across three fiscal years, including start-up, implementation tasks, and quarterly reporting deadlines. It notes the requirement for periodic reflection and adaptation sessions with local partners. The grant opportunity solicitation seeks proposals for projects providing rapid response support to women politicians and leaders facing threats of technology-facilitated gender-based violence globally. Awards will be cooperative agreements. The opportunity is part of the 19.801 Office of Global Women's Issues federal grant program managed by the Department of State to promote women's empowerment in foreign policy through initiatives like Women, Peace and Security and gender-based violence prevention.

Sheet1 Directions for Submitting an Implementation Timeline: Based on the activities mentioned in your project proposal, please provide a project implementation plan timeline (such as sample below), indicating which month(s) your project activities are to be implemented. Be sure to include the monitoring and evaluation schedule that your organization will implement to ensure that the project is effectively meeting its milestones. Please note this timeline is a template; the below can be extended or reduced based on project scope.

Please include quarterly and annual reflect, consult, and adapt sessions with local implementing partners, as appropriate, to: 1) review progress and challenges against goals and objectives, 2) update targets and analyze data quality for the MEL plan, 3) update and resubmit the gender and inclusion analysis (as it will relate to overall implementation), and 4) analyze and report against progress implementing in coordination with other implementers and donors as part of implementing programming consistent with S/GWI principles (i.e. a survivor-centered approach, inclusion, etc.).
