About this file
This is a memorandum from the 436th Contracting Squadron (AMC) at Dover Air Force Base regarding Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism (FP/AT) and Operations Security (OPSEC) awareness training requirements for contractors. The document outlines specific training requirements based on contract duration periods.
The memorandum establishes a tiered training structure for both AT and OPSEC awareness. For AT training, contractors with 1-29 day contracts require only an AT Trifold, while those with 30-89 days need both the Trifold and AT Awareness Guide. Contracts lasting 90-179 days additionally require an ATR Brief, and those 180+ days must complete all previous requirements plus AT Level I CBT. For OPSEC training, contractors with 1-29 day contracts need only the OPSEC Awareness Guide, while those with 90-179 days must also complete an OPSEC Brief. CAC holders with 180+ day contracts must complete all requirements including the OPSEC CBT. The document specifies that OPSEC training must be completed within 90 days of initial assignment, and access to mission-critical information is restricted until OPSEC education is completed and documented.
