About this file

This document is a Deviations Compliance Form issued by Richardson Independent School District (RISD), which provides instructions for potential bidders to propose exceptions or deviations from the district's standard terms and conditions. The form outlines a specific process for responders who wish to request modifications to the standard terms: they must use the Microsoft Word version of the document, enable "Track Changes", and mark up the document with proposed deviations. These modified documents must then be uploaded to RISD's Bonfire system under the "Deviations" section.

The district retains sole discretion in considering proposed deviations and will evaluate any exceptions in its bid award decision, with the right to accept, reject, or modify responses based on the proposed changes. If no deviations are proposed, the responder affirms full compliance with RISD's standard terms, conditions, item specifications, and all other information in the solicitation invitation. The form includes checkboxes for "No Deviations" or "Yes Deviations Provided", with a requirement to upload tracked changes documents if the latter option is selected.

DEVIATIONS COMPLIANCE FORM

If the undersigned responder requests an exception or deviation from the RISD Standard Terms and Conditions listed in this solicitation invitation, all such requested exceptions or deviations must be presented by attaching a copy of the redlined/marked-up RISD Standard Terms and Conditions with the responder’s request(s). A copy of the RISD Standard Terms and Conditions is provided in Microsoft Word. To propose a deviation, responder is to use the Word version of the Standard Terms and Conditions, turn the “Track Changes” feature on (by clicking on the “Review” tab in the menu bar and then clicking the “Track Changes” command), and then markup/redline the document with the proposed deviations. Once responder has completed marking up the document, responder must provide the requested changes to the Terms and Conditions by uploading the redlined document to RISD’s Bonfire system under the Requested Information Section entitled “Deviations.” RISD retains sole discretion to consider any proposed deviations not submitted using these instructions.

The District will consider any requested exception or deviation in its bid award decision, and the District reserves the right to accept, reject, or modify any response based upon any requested deviations presented.

In the absence of any deviation entry on this form, the responder assures the District of their full compliance with the RISD Standard Terms and Conditions, Item Specifications, and all other information contained in this Response/Proposal Invitation.
