About this file
This document is a Compliance with Federal and State Laws certification form for Johnson County, Texas, requiring bidders to verify several key compliance points for state contract opportunities. Bidders must certify they are not on the Federal Government's suspended or debarred list, and agree to notify the Johnson County Purchasing Agent if their status changes between bid submission and contract award. Additionally, bidders must verify they do not boycott Israel, do not conduct business with Iran, Sudan, or foreign terrorist organizations, and will provide a Certificate of Interested Parties Form 1295 within ten business days of a pending award notification.
The document also requires bidders to comply with Texas Government Code Chapter 2274, which includes verifications that they do not discriminate against firearm entities or trade associations, do not boycott energy companies, and will not do so during the contract term. The certification includes specific definitions for terms like "boycott energy company" and "company" as defined in Texas Government Code sections 809.001 and 2251.001. At the bottom of the document, space is provided for the bidding company to enter their name, address, signature, title, date, email, and phone number to formalize their compliance attestation.
