Summary

This is a Bid Schedule document for construction services related to the Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) project to construct a dedicated fire water storage tank and valve building at the University of Utah School of Computing and Fine Arts (USCF) campus. The project aims to separate the culinary water and fire water systems on the USCF campus. The bid schedule itemizes 24 distinct line items encompassing site preparation, utility work, tank construction, building construction, and commissioning activities. Key construction components include a 0.5 million gallon reinforced concrete water storage tank, a valve control building, various HDPE piping systems ranging from 12 inches to 18 inches in diameter, site grading of 1,030 cubic yards, three precast storm drain junction boxes, 170 linear feet of 18-inch HDPE storm drain pipe, and associated electrical and SCADA integration work. All items are presented as lump sum payments except for site grading (measured per cubic yard), clearing and grubbing (per acre), precast junction boxes (per each), and storm drain pipe (per linear foot).

The construction cost estimate for the project is $2,500,000.00. The bid schedule provides detailed measurement and payment specifications for each line item, with work encompassing mobilization and demobilization, surveying and staking, traffic control and site security, temporary erosion control, ground improvement per geotechnical requirements, demolition and removal of existing utilities and structures, tank mixer installation, tank cleaning and commissioning, hydrostatic and water quality testing, site electrical work, and SCADA system integration. No set-asides, incumbent contractor information, specific response dates, or renewal options are identified in this document.
