About this file
This document is a signed guidelines form from the Cherokee County School District's Procurement Services Department, establishing protocols for non-employees with limited access to students. The guidelines provide comprehensive rules for non-district personnel when conducting business on school premises, focusing on interactions with students, movement within school buildings, and expected professional conduct.
The document outlines specific behavioral expectations, including restricting non-employees from initiating conversations with students, limiting access to designated areas, requiring administrative authorization for student interactions, mandating proper conduct in actions and speech, and prohibiting smoking and inappropriate language. Non-employees are only permitted on school premises during regular school hours or pre-arranged times, must be escorted in areas where children are present, and are strictly prohibited from soliciting student assistance in their work responsibilities. The form includes blank spaces for a company representative to sign and provide company information, with the document last updated in August 2023.

• Non‐employees should not react to student actions/behavior other than to report these actions to the administration.
• Non‐employees, while on school premises, are expected to conduct themselves properly in both actions and speech.
• Non‐employees are authorized to be on school premises only during regular school hours or during times pre‐arranged with the school administration.
• Non‐employees who conduct business within a school must do so without soliciting students to participate or aid them in performing their responsibilities.
