About this file

This is a signed guidelines document issued by the Cherokee County School District (CCSD) Procurement Services Department in Georgia to establish conduct expectations for non-employee vendors and service providers with limited access to students. The guidelines establish that nonemployees may only contact students as authorized by school administration, must remain in designated areas necessary for their specific responsibilities, and are prohibited from soliciting student participation in their business activities. Nonemployees are authorized to be on school premises only during regular school hours or at times prearranged with administration and require an employee escort to access areas where children are present during the school day.

The document stipulates that nonemployees must conduct themselves appropriately in both actions and speech while on school premises, report any student actions or behavior to administration rather than responding directly, and comply with prohibitions on smoking and offensive or inappropriate language. All nonemployees must sign and date the acknowledgment form, providing their company name, printed name, and title. This guidelines document is associated with the District's Request for Proposals for Air Quality Testing Services, which seeks qualified proposers to provide comprehensive air quality testing services to assess indoor air quality, identify contaminants, and ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards.
