About this file
This document is an Attachment D - Certified Disadvantaged Business Outreach Plan for an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, Procurement Services, related to an annual fire alarm testing and inspection contract. The ITB seeks a qualified bidder to annually test and inspect fire suppression systems in eighteen (18) SACU homes located in Clackamas, Lane, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, and Yamhill counties in Oregon. The bidder must describe the steps it will take to solicit Certified Firms, which are small businesses certified by the Oregon Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) as minority-owned, woman-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, or emerging small businesses, for any subcontracting opportunities. The bidder must also provide a list of Certified Firms and non-Certified Firms it has had contractual relationships with in the last two years, as well as indicate the subcontracting opportunities and approximate dollar values if awarded the contract.
The document states that the bidder must be willing to report the identity of each subcontractor and the value of each subcontract to COBID if awarded the contract. The pricing terms, funding requirements and sources, and other salient information are not provided in the document.
