About this file
This document is a Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Program Management LAP Certification of Current Capacity form, designed for pre-qualified contractors bidding on state transportation projects. The two-page form requires contractors to certify their current work capacity by detailing their existing contract obligations. Specifically, the document provides instructions for completing a "Status of Contracts on Hand" report, which must reflect uncompleted work as of the 15th day of the month preceding the letting date, with all new contracts awarded within five days of the letting date being included and charged against the contractor's total rating.
The form is structured to help FDOT verify that a contractor's proposed bid does not exceed their maximum capacity rating, with provisions for documenting total contract amounts, subcontracted work, and remaining balance. The blank form allows contractors to list project details including owner, location, contract amounts, and uncompleted work to be performed as either a prime or subcontractor. While the sample document shows zero values, it provides a template for contractors to comprehensively disclose their current workload and remaining capacity, ensuring transparency and preventing overbidding in the state's transportation contract procurement process.
