About this file
The document is a Truth in Negotiation Certification form issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), specifically form 375-030-30 dated 05/14, which is required for professional services contracts over a certain monetary threshold. The certification is mandated by Section 287.055(5)(a) of Florida Statutes and applies to lump-sum or cost-plus-a-fixed-fee professional service agreements in Category Four procurement.
The certification requires the consultant to verify that wage rates and factual unit costs supporting the compensation for the project agreement are accurate, complete, and current at the time of contracting. The consultant agrees that the original agreement price can be adjusted to exclude any significant sums determined by the Department to have been increased due to inaccurate, incomplete, or non-current wage rates. Any such agreement adjustments must be made within one year following the contract's end, which is defined as the date of final billing or acceptance of work by the Department, whichever occurs later.
