About this file

This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Volume 3 of 5 from Madison County Transit related to contractor prequalification requirements with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). The document specifies that bidders and subcontractors must be IDOT prequalified in specific work categories at the time of bid opening to be eligible for the project. The document provides a table for contractors to list their proposed companies for two specific IDOT work categories: Signing (Category 26) and Pavement Marking (Category 27).

The document does not provide additional details about the specific project scope, timeline, or contract value. Its primary purpose is to establish a mandatory prequalification requirement for potential contractors, ensuring that only IDOT-approved companies in the designated work categories can bid on the project. The table is designed for bidders to demonstrate their compliance with these prequalification standards by listing the specific companies that will perform the signing and pavement marking work.
