About this file

This is a Bid Price Sheet (Exhibit C) for a competitive sealed bid solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Transportation District Four for districtwide fencing services. The solicitation encompasses three primary service categories: fence repair, fence installation for new fencing, and fence installation for rented fencing across six counties and the South Florida Rail Corridor (Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River Counties, and South Florida Rail Corridor). Estimated quantities include 45 units for metal fence pole and brace removal, 2,000 linear feet for metal fence fabric resetting, 850 linear feet for vinyl-coated metal fence fabric, 45 units for wood fence post and brace removal, 175 linear feet for barbed wire and high-tensile wire fence resetting, and 35 fence gate repairs. For new fence installation, quantities include 225 standard metal fence poles, 85 pole braces, 3,750 linear feet of standard metal fence fabric, 3,500 linear feet of vinyl-coated fence fabric, 35 wood fence posts and post braces, 175 linear feet each of barbed wire and high-tensile wire fence, and 85 new gates. Rented fencing installation includes 3,000 linear feet of 6-foot metal fence and 100 fence gates. Mobilization fees are structured by county or group of Letter of Agreements, with 50 units each for Broward, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie Counties, 20 units each for Martin and Indian River Counties, and 5 units for the South Florida Rail Corridor.

All unit prices and billing rates must be submitted in U.S. dollars and cents and must include all associated costs such as salaries, overhead, fringe benefits, labor, equipment, supplies, tools, travel, and administrative expenses. Bidders must enter prices on all items; blank entries, N/A notations, non-dollar entries, or failure to use the Department's Exhibit C will render the bid non-responsive. The quantities provided are estimates for evaluation purposes only and do not represent actual quantities to be authorized. All unit rates apply to the initial contract term and any renewal periods. All payments to the vendor are subject to the MFMP Transaction Fee as specified in Form PUR 1000 General Contract Condition #14, calculated based on the payment issuance date. Prospective bidders must be registered in Florida's MyFloridaMarketplace system, and for services contracts, out-of-state entities must be authorized to do business in Florida and hold proper licensing if required by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The solicitation prohibits contact with state employees regarding the solicitation between its release and 72 hours following the notice of intended award, excluding weekends and state holidays, with violations subject to bid rejection.
