About this file
This document is a Darfur Contracting Act form issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), designed to certify a bidder's compliance with Public Contract Code Sections 10475-10481 regarding business activities outside the United States. The form provides three options for companies seeking to bid on or submit a proposal for a state contract: Option #1 for companies with no activities outside the US in the previous three years, Option #2 for companies with international business activities requiring certification, and Option #3 for scrutinized companies that have obtained written permission from the Department of General Services to submit a bid.
The document requires bidders to disclose and certify their international business operations, with companies having conducted business outside the United States needing to provide detailed information about their activities. Companies must affirm under penalty of perjury that they are not a "scrutinized company" as defined by Public Contract Code 10476, or have received explicit permission to bid. The form includes spaces for company name, Federal ID Number, authorized signatures, and other identifying information to ensure transparency and compliance with California's contracting regulations specific to companies with international business connections.
