About this file
This document is a Special Terms and Conditions attachment from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), providing detailed security and behavioral guidelines for suppliers and their representatives when accessing correctional facilities. The document outlines critical security regulations, including specific clothing restrictions (suppliers cannot wear attire resembling inmate clothing), comprehensive Prison Rape Elimination Policy (PREA) standards, and extensive security protocols for entering and operating within correctional institutions.
The document emphasizes strict security measures such as mandatory background checks, consent to searches, prohibitions on electronic devices, restrictions on interactions with inmates, and explicit guidelines about prohibited items and behaviors on institutional grounds.
