About this file
This is an appendix form for RFP #16-26-BB issued by Bernalillo County, New Mexico's Purchasing Section on behalf of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department for Dennison Rodeo Event and Maintenance Services. The document establishes requirements and scoring criteria for offerors to demonstrate their participation and involvement in rodeo, equine, and livestock trade associations as part of their proposal evaluation.
Offerors must complete the participation form by listing all trade associations in which their company currently participates, describing the nature of involvement, and documenting total years of participation in each organization. Only formally established associations with defined missions related to the rodeo, equine, or livestock industry qualify for scoring consideration; informal groups or unrelated business organizations do not count toward evaluation. The County reserves the right to request verification documentation for any listed association prior to award, and failure to provide requested documentation may result in score reduction. Scoring is allocated based on the number of qualifying associations: 10 or more associations earn 10 points, 5-9 associations earn 7 points, 3-4 associations earn 5 points, 1-2 associations earn 2 points, and no associations result in 0 points. The document provides an extensive list of 30 qualifying examples including the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA), Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA), American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), New Mexico Cattle Growers' Association (NMCGA), and various state and national rodeo and equine organizations.
