About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a GSA parking lot renovation project in Bismarck, ND. The project involves replacing an existing asphalt parking lot with a new low embodied carbon concrete parking lot of approximately 45,000 square feet, with an estimated magnitude of $1-5 million.

Key clarifications include: no EVSE charging stations will be installed but conduit-only installation is required; no electric gates will be installed; design must be included in original bid though drawings aren't required at submission; contractors must undergo SAC investigation for badging; the project is not tax exempt; temporary fencing and facilities are permitted between parking lots; retaining wall replacement is not to be included in bids; and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) will be required per IRA LEC Material Requirements. A site visit was scheduled for January 29th at 1:00 PM CST, and proposals should be submitted to Monique.brumley@gsa.gov. No bid guarantee is required, and past performance should demonstrate similar size and scope rather than specifically design-build experience.

Are we to install 2 EVSE charging stations? or just run conduit for 4 future charging stations? Conduit only

Should the perimeter fencing be high security chain link or high security decorative metal and what height should the fence be? See drawing in questionnaire.
