... Or will the existing lavatory need to be replaced?
Response to RFI #22: Remove existing and replace with USPO Requirement ABAAS compliant.
RFI #23: The existing toilet is not ABA compliant. Will the toilet need to be replaced to meet ABA?
Response to RFI #23: Remove existing and replace with USPO Requirement ABAAS compliant.
RFI #24: The SOW, Section 6 and USPO Requirements indicate PLAM counters; however, the DID drawings A5.0
& A5.1 show solid surface or stainless steel counters. Which type of countertop type is correct?
Response to RFI #24: PLAM counters are correct.
RFI #25: Do special requirements take priority? DID: Paint, WB1, VCT. SPO: Ceramic Tile, cove
Response to RFI #25: USPO special requirements take priority.
RFI #26: The USPO requirements show 4" rubber base, however the DID Finish schedule shows wood base. Which is correct?
RFI Response #26: The base will need to match what is existing to remain.
RFI #27: Does the reception area require 2 data drops per the USPO requirements?
Response to RFI #27: No data drops in reception / waiting area.
RFI #28: Is the GFCI outlet near the sink in the UA Toilet required per USPO special requirements or omitted per
DID drawings A3.0?
Response to RFI #28: Yes, a GFCI outlet near the sink is required.
RFI #29: Will the two radiant heaters at the windows of the outer restroom and vestibule need to be removed? Or were they omitted from the DID drawings?
Response to RFI #29: The radiant heaters do exist and were not shown in the DID. That room is proposed as 1 room and will not need 2 as before. What are the options for heating in that room with the goal to minimize the unit(s) size and space it takes up? Is it possible to decommission 1 unit, basically consolidate to 1 unit?
RFI #30: Can you confirm the adjustable shelves in the UA Storage will be provided by the Agency? Does this include blocking and installation or just the materials?
Response to RFI #30: Adjustable shelves in the UA Storage will be provided by the Contractor and installed with blocking. This can be a metal track and brackets with PLAM shelves.
RFI #31: IS CPT acceptable in the Supply storage room or will VCT be required per the USPO Requirements?
Response to RFI #31: VCT is required for flooring in the Supply Room.
47PJ0020R0030/0006
RFI #32: Will the refrigerator be provided by the Agency as an owner furnished contractor installed item or contractor furnished installed item? If it is owner furnished, then can the owner provide a make and model?
Response to RFI #32: Contractor furnished and installed item.
Break room: Refrigerator - Suggested or similar to GE - Spacemaker 5.6 Cu. Ft. Mini Fridge - Stainless steel, Model:
GCE06GSHSB. Under Counter 24" width freezer.

RFI #33: Will the microwave be provided by the Agency as an owner furnished contractor installed item or a contractor furnished contractor installed item? If it is owner furnished, then can the owner provide a make and model?
Response to RFI #33: Contractor furnished and installed item. Microwave - in upper cabinet opening, not built in so it can be easily removed in the future. Stainless steel. Make sure the microwave has space for venting.
RFI #34: Is the breakroom sink to be a single compartment (DID drawings) or double compartment sink per USPO requirements?

RFI #37: Can the Government provide information on the heating load for the 24/7 cooling unit of the server closet for budgeting purposes?
Response to RFI #37: The server closet will only house the local switch, environmental monitor, access monitoring camera and UPS. Total max output would be 1,665 watts. That is with a maximum load, however, which would not occur often, if at all. Typical ongoing load would be more around 650 to 850 watts for the five devices. Offerors may convert this information to BTUs for the requested purpose. The owner does not necessarily require much for cooling as the existing devices do not generate much heat. Server Rack - to be procured and installed by
Contractor. USPO IT Specialist to provide rack specifications. Incoming from Court IT Specialist.
RFI #38: What signage will the contractor be required to provide for the project? Identification, directional, information/security signage?
Response to RFI #38: Signage is required for outside of the front door into the office identifying the space. This sign would be consistent with signage throughout the courthouse.
(End of Requests for Information)
Amendment 0006 to GSA Solicitation No. 47PJ0020R0030 hereby amends the response to RFI #15. The RFI #15 and response shown below shall supersede and take precedence over any previous RFI #15 and Response to RFI
#15.
RFI #15: Will the existing electrical require a dedicated ground to the exterior of the building and require removal and replacement of hard surfaces? The USPO Special Requirements call for one half of the outlets to be equipped with an isolated ground for "clean power". Does the isolated ground conductor have to be extended to the main electrical services on the exterior of the building (neutral/ground bonding point)? If so, it may require removal/replacement of the existing hard surfaces and trenching.
Response to RFI #15: The requirement for one half of the outlets to be Isolated Ground Receptacles is removed from the project. All the outlets shall be bonded to the solidly grounded system. No removal/replacement and trenching of hard surfaces is anticipated.
