This document contains an amendment and responses to requests for information regarding a solicitation for emergency generator and fire pump replacement services. The General Services Administration Region 5 is seeking a contractor to replace the existing diesel generator and fire pump with a new 500 kW natural gas generator and new fire pump at the Walter H. Rice Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Dayton, Ohio. The construction cost estimate is between $1,000,000 to $3,375,000 and the performance period is 275 calendar days upon receipt of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. It also states that abatement work is not required if hazardous materials identified in the report are not disturbed.
