Description of Modification Continuation Page

1. What local companies have serviced the existing Security System?

Response: JCI and MCD, both know the systems. You are not being asked to do any major upgrades. Go with standalone systems when needed.

2. Can you tell us the current CCTV software type, software version and hardware types?

Response: Allegiant ANALOG END OF LIFE no software this is a card driven CPU and cards to add are no longer available will require adding a BVMS system for all new cameras that can be expanded as existing system fails. Will need to furnish and install a separate 16 or 32 channel DVR, purchase and install IP based cctv fixed and PTZ where required and a two separate 42 inch monitors, one for viewing and one for motion or action call up viewing.

3. Can you tell us the current Access Control software type, software version and hardware types?

Response: Identiv, 3.6 M8 Panels (M8 Panels are END OF LIFE). You will require two additional panels as each panel as 8 openings and you will require 9 card readers.

4. Can you tell us the number of available ports on the current access control system?

Response: No open ports are available.. MX8 panels will be needed. The server/clients shall be replaced since you are adding an MX8 you will have firmware conflicts on the system.

5. Can you confirm that the minimum mounting height for exterior pole cameras is 12ft?

Response: 12â fold downs are recommended. Note: This response takes precedence over any previous response.

6. The man gates show magnetic locks. What type of exit hardware do you require?

Response: Card reader each side with a 30 second delayed egress bar. Does not require mag lock. Can be any electric type locking devices for the delay bar and electric low voltage for card reader lock. Inside card reader shunts the egress for employee use.

7. Will the man gates be connected to the fire alarm system?

Response: With the delayed egress bar there is no need. A small sign should be present to warn lost souls seeking departure, but during operational hours security staff is present for lost souls.

8. Can you offer any insight into the desired Aiphone upgrades?

Response: We prefer Commend. If a Commend system is installed it must be standalone since the existing systems are old, and they do not provide the ability to use Commend as a partner. Any or equal products must be submitted for review and approval. Approx. 8 intercoms are required.
