15. Please provide the existing CT and chiller plant sequences of operations?

ANSWER: Moakley starts with one chiller. When one chiller hits 90% for 15 minutes a second chiller comes on. It remains that way until both chillers drop to 40%, and then the lag chiller turns off.

The towers start with one fan on low, then the fan will go to high, then a second fan starts on low, then the second fan goes to high.

A more detailed description of basic HVAC operations and sequencing is attached.

Shoulder Months – October, November, April, May

When outside air temperatures are above 48 degrees the summer schedule will be used other than weekday times of 9am will be set to 8am and weekday end times of 6pm will be set to 8pm.

When outside air temperatures are below 48 degrees the system will function in winter mode.

Note: During summer months the Ice Farm will be replenished if the level drops below 90% harvest. In shoulder and winter months the Ice Farm will be replenished if the level drops below 60% harvest.
