United States Coast Guard (USCG) Pay and Personnel Center (PPC) Gym Memberships in Topeka, Kansas

RFQ # 47400PR250000019

Questions and Answers:

1. Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project?

This is a recompete of contract number 70Z0G322PPPC00001

2. Does the contractor submitting the proposal need to own the gym facilities, or is it acceptable for the contractor to secure qualifying facilities through a business partnership as the subcontractor in order to fulfill the requirements?

The Government does not require the Contractor to own the gym facilities.

3. The SOW states "Contractors shall provide 180 memberships to include one dependent for each member." Can you clarify what is meant by “include one dependent for each member”?

The Government requires 180 USCG Gymnasium Memberships that also include one dependent membership for each member. The Government defines a dependent as a spouse or child.

4. Is this expected to be paid monthly or annually?

The payment schedule is monthly.

5. The RFQ requires we use the invoicing system to request payment if chosen; however, when I went to sign up, it stated we have to be invited by the CO (or other) once we are awarded a contract.

Upon award, the Contractor will be invited to enroll into the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) system to submit all invoices.
