About this file
This is a Question and Answer amendment for RFP 462624 concerning a Cycloconverter, issued March 10, 2026. The document does not address specific products, services, response dates, or award information, as it serves solely to clarify technical and administrative matters raised by potential offerors.
The amendment addresses four inquiries from prospective contractors. BSA will provide Word versions of its Commercial Terms and Conditions and Supplemental Terms through SAM.gov. Regarding technical specifications, BNL confirmed that the stored energy in the rotating mass is 305 megajoules (MJ) at 1200 RPM synchronous speed, but does not possess Rotor Windings Inductance data. On the matter of confidentiality protections, BNL clarified that it does not execute mutual Non-Disclosure Agreements; instead, it protects proposal information in accordance with RFP Section 4.1.1, which provides instructions for marking pages containing data that offerors wish to designate as confidential and restrict from disclosure.
