About this file

This is a Questions & Answers document for RFQ No. 453320CE regarding Fuel Oil Burner Grade #4 for CSF (Central Steam Facility).

The document reveals that the #4 oil is intended as backup fuel for when natural gas (the primary fuel) is interrupted. The facility has three storage tanks with a total working capacity of approximately 1.2 million gallons. This is the first iteration of this contract, as the tanks were recently converted to No. 4 fuel. There is no historical burn rate data available due to the recent conversion. Pricing will be based on the Petro Report, which is noted as the only available report for No. 4 fuel oil in the Northeast due to its uncommon usage in the region.
