About this file
The document is a Vendor Opt-In Form for Electronic Receipt of Purchase Orders from the County of Bergen, Division of Purchasing, Department of Administration and Finance. The form outlines the terms and conditions for vendors who voluntarily choose to receive purchase orders electronically (e-Purchase Orders or EPOs) from the county. Vendors agreeing to this method will no longer receive physical purchase order copies via postal or other delivery methods, and must use specified email addresses for communication.
The form requires vendors to maintain accurate contact information, actively monitor their email accounts, and take steps to ensure EPOs are not redirected to spam folders. The county retains discretion to modify or discontinue the EPO system at any time, with at least 30 days' notice. Vendors acknowledge that EPOs are considered received upon delivery to their online account, not when read, and can request a paper copy within seven working days if needed. The county explicitly disclaims warranties about the EPO system's operation and limits its liability for any damages or issues arising from the electronic purchase order process.
