About this file

This is an Annual Production Report for solar photovoltaic systems at the Lower Bucks Brownfield site in Levittown, Pennsylvania, prepared by the Pennsylvania Solar Center for the Sustainable Energy Partnership comprising Bucks County, Chester County, Delaware County, and Montgomery County. The document presents detailed engineering analysis and performance projections for two distinct solar system designs proposed for the same project location at 7311 New Falls Rd, Levittown, PA 19055. The first design, the Enphase configuration, features 787 QCells Q.PEAK DUO XL-G11S 585W modules with a 460.40 kW DC nameplate capacity and 336.05 kW AC inverter capacity, utilizing 787 individual Enphase IQ9N-3P-A-US-277 microinverters. The second design, the SolarEdge configuration, uses the same 787 modules with identical DC capacity but incorporates four SolarEdge SE100KUS inverters with 400.00 kW combined AC capacity and 395 SolarEdge S1201 optimizers for module-level power optimization. Both systems utilize fixed-tilt racking at landscape orientation with identical field specifications and identical irradiance metrics.

The Enphase system projects annual energy production of 609.6 MWh with a performance ratio of 84.5%, while the SolarEdge system projects 601.7 MWh with a performance ratio of 83.4%, reflecting the SolarEdge system's higher AC system losses of 4.0% compared to the Enphase system's 0.0% AC system losses. Both designs were analyzed using NREL TMY weather data for the project coordinates (40.15, -74.85) and employ identical bifacial modules with rear irradiance calculations, soiling assumptions, and temperature derating models. The analysis was conducted using Aurora Solar simulation software and accounts for multiple system losses including front shading (2.2%), reflection (3.4%), soiling (2.3%), temperature effects (1.8%), and inverter conversion losses (2.9% for Enphase and 1.5% for SolarEdge). No pricing, contracting terms, timelines, or procurement details are included in this technical performance document.
