About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for band instruments to be purchased by the Clark County School District (CCSD) in Utah for two new middle schools opening in August 2026. The RFQ specifies required brands and models across a comprehensive range of musical instruments and accessories needed to establish band programs at these facilities. The inventory includes woodwind instruments (flutes, clarinets, saxophones, oboes), brass instruments (trumpets, French horns, euphoniums, trombones, tubas), percussion instruments (marimbas, vibraphones, xylophones, cymbals, timpani, snare drums), and associated accessories such as reeds, oils, greases, mallets, and stands. Quantities range from single units to twenty units per item, with specific Yamaha, Hercules, D'Addario, Clark W Fobes, Selmer, Eastman, Vandoren, and other manufacturer specifications required. The RFQ format indicates a straightforward procurement process requesting unit pricing, estimated delivery dates, and bid notes from qualified vendors.
The RFQ requires bidders to provide unit prices and total costs for each specified item, with estimated delivery information and any applicable bid notes to be included in the response. The document does not contain information regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, contract term details, renewal options, funding sources, or specific response deadlines. This appears to be a standard equipment procurement to support the establishment of music education programs at the two new middle school facilities scheduled to open in August 2026.
