About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by Clark County School District (CCSD) in Utah for the purchase of band instruments for Juniper Ridge Middle School, one of two new middle schools scheduled to open in August 2026. The RFQ specifies required brands and models across a comprehensive range of instruments including woodwinds (flutes, clarinets, saxophones, oboes, and bassoons), brass instruments (trumpets, French horns, euphoniums, trombones, and tubas), and percussion equipment (marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones, timpani, snare drums, bass drums, and various accessory percussion items). The procurement includes quantities ranging from one to 25 units per item, with specific requirements for mouthpieces, ligatures, reeds, oils, and mallets. The document does not specify response dates, bid due dates, site visits, bidders' conferences, or award dates within the visible content.
The RFQ includes unit price fields and estimated delivery columns for bidder completion but does not provide pricing guidance, set-asides, incumbent information, or specific funding sources within the document. The structured format requires bidders to supply individual unit prices and total costs for each line item, enabling CCSD to evaluate the total project cost for this initial school's instrumentation needs. The procurement represents a significant equipment investment for a new educational facility, with the full scope potentially expanded to include a second middle school as indicated in the contract opportunity description.
