About this file
This is a pricing worksheet form for RFP #269-2026-1845 issued by the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Facilities Division in North Carolina for glass repair, installation, and maintenance services. The RFP seeks contractor proposals to handle repairs, replacements, and maintenance of glass on windows and doors at various CATS locations and facilities throughout Charlotte and surrounding areas. The initial contract term is three years, with the City holding the option to renew for two additional consecutive one-year terms thereafter. All repairs, replacements, work, and materials are guaranteed for one full year from the date of acceptance or the manufacturer's warranty, whichever is greater.
The pricing worksheet requires contractors to provide comprehensive, all-inclusive pricing in United States dollars covering all aspects of the project as outlined in the Scope of Service. Bidders must submit hourly labor rates for technicians and helpers across three service categories: standard service hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday), after-hours service (5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday), and weekend and holiday service (all day Saturday, Sunday, and holidays when City offices are closed). Contractors must also indicate material markup or discount percentages based on three cost tiers: materials with extended costs under $2,000, materials between $2,000.01 and $4,999.99, and materials at $5,000 and above. Minimum charges for labor services may be specified by bidders where applicable.
