About this file
This is a Scope of Work document for the Nevada State Parks division detailing on-call maintenance services for the Southern Region of Nevada State Parks properties throughout Clark County. The contract encompasses emergency and non-emergency services including general building restoration and repair, plumbing and sewer services, electrical and lighting services, HVAC services, interior and exterior remodeling, key and lock services, trenching and excavation, paving and roadwork, confined space entry, fire protection system services, and well drilling, pulling, setting, and rehabilitation work. The successful vendor must possess a valid Nevada Board of Contractors license and maintain good standing status. All work must be quoted in advance by the contractor, with an Encumbrance Document issued by State Parks before work commences. The contract does not guarantee orders or compensation unless services are specifically requested by Nevada State Parks.
The selected contractor must demonstrate required employee knowledge and skills through resumes and detailed descriptions of previously provided services. Because of the complex nature of State Parks facilities, the contractor must have the capability to employ licensed subcontractors for work falling outside their areas of expertise. All work must be performed professionally with strict adherence to state and local employer safety and fire prevention codes, industry standards, and applicable codes. On-site crew supervision is mandatory to ensure safety and acceptable production levels, with routine inspections conducted to verify work quality, production rates, and site protection compliance. Work scheduling must minimize impact on park operations whenever possible, protecting property and ensuring safety for crew members, State Parks staff, and visitors.
