About this file
This document is an Exhibit Program specification for print, media, and installation services at the Center for Seabee Facilities and Engineering (CSFE) located at Naval CDC Port Hueneme, California. The project involves comprehensive interior modifications and graphics installation within the main lobby of the CSFE facility.
The scope of work includes removing existing wing walls at the right lobby entry, replacing flooring, ceiling, and wall surfaces, and relocating power for a new touch screen monitor. Large and medium format vinyl murals will be installed over existing painted walls and windows, with corrections to visible defects and repairs to loose junction boxes. A corrugated wall section will overlay an existing wall and window as a dimensional component. The contractor must remove the existing graphics rail system and replace it with new graphics. Two media programs and installations are required: one unit at the right entry functioning as a classroom locator and communications device, and a second unit in the seating area beneath the soffit featuring a menu with multiple program options. The specification requires installation of a Class location and information system with interactive touchscreen capabilities (21" or larger monitor with Elo 2202L or equivalent hardware and Joan software) and a Feature display monitor (40" or larger with Elo 5554L or equivalent hardware and BrightSign authoring software). All work must meet local and state building codes, and materials and graphic elements must be museum quality. The selected contractor must demonstrate experience in quality interior environments such as museums or corporate centers with wall-applied mural graphics and interactive media installations.
