This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13, Simplified Procedures for Commercial Products and Commercial Services as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.

This combined synopsis/solicitation document will be available for download on or about April 10, 2024 under Request for Quotation (RFQ) number N0018924Q234 at the following website:

This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2023- 06 (effective 05 October 2023) and DFARS Publication Notice 20231025 (effective 25 October 2023). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at this address:

The NAICS code is 488991 and the Small Business Standard is $34,000,000 million dollars.

The proposed contract action is 100% set aside for Small Business, for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. To procure contractor services to package, crate, and prepare historical artifacts for international shipping in support of The Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC).

* Contractor(s) shall safely and securely move the artifact L94-64-A from the WNY to Southampton U.K.

via sea as a Less than Container Load.

International Shipping

See Statement of Work (SOW) for additional details. This requirement is to procure services to package and crate historical artifacts for international shipment.
